Yesterday I was driving down our lane when I spotted an unfortunate pigeon run over. On my return I was looking out for it when a Buzzard came from nowhere with it in it's feet and proceeded to fly at hedge height for a considerable way, literally just outside my window. It was enormous and at one point it looked me in the eye. I really felt like 'Merlin'

How amazing, a once in a lifetime experience. They are huge birds up close aren't they?

It's odd isn't it, why they aren't afraid of cars. It's not so long ago that you hardly saw one but they're two a penny now. After seeing just how big they are I'll be more cautious about Barnaby....and the Girls !! Don't think one would fancy me....to gristly now ;D
