Capel Manor isn't far from me, I did visit a few years ago, but it looks as though there have been lots of changes. Its an interesting place, they had the 'Which' trial gardens there when I visited. WF with your building skills you would have no trouble building a folly ;D Could be your next project?

They are just lovely Sue, And i agree, you could probably build one yourself and would look nicer that a bought one

I love the Gothic windows and the sandstone mixed with red brick It would look very out of place here though and it is beyond my skills. I can build stone walls and wooden windows and doors, which would be far more in-keeping with the existing buildings. I may just give this some thought over the winter
