Saw that on the news the other day, great video, some of them look to be enjoying the 'dressing up' rather a lot! Glad they're all safely home, nice film of them on the news being reunited with their families.

Yes I saw it on the news and it brought tears to my eyes when I watched them landing. It was actually 7 1/2 months they were away.
I always wonder how they get their uniforms so immaculate when they have hardly any room to sort them out. Perhaps they have someone to do the laundry and dry cleaning. That must be it.

It was always good to get back home but it was usually good while away as well  ;D On quite a few ships in my day there was a laundry usually run by a chinese. Alternatively you did your own dhobi. |
