Once Christmas and New Year are out of the way, we've only got to endure the rest of January, then in February the days seem to get longer suddenly! ;D We have done quite well with winter weather this year. If it all falls apart after Christmas and New Year that won't be too bad.

My thoughts too, it won't make a looong winter like the last one was - with the winter starting in the middle of November.

The short days don't usually bother me very much, but this year they're getting on my nerves. I'll be glad to see it geting lighter. It's surprising how soon you notice it really.
