Waved mum off on Friday for a nice relaxing holiday in the sun, but I had a phone call early Monday morning to say she had a nasty fall and was in hospital, she'd broken her arm near her shoulder and was waiting for surgery. Fortunately it's gone well, and although she had to go to intensive care because of the op, she is now ok and hopefully will be able to go back to her sisters today or tomorrow,  what a way to start a holiday. I will know more today |

I am very sorry Grindle. Mothers at that age are rather precious, so I do hope it heals well.

It is a shame she broke her arm during the first week of her holiday, on the plus side, she will have company and help 24/7 which is a blessing.

Aw.....that is a horrible thing to happen on holiday and away from home  ..Glad the op went well and she will get well spoilt by her Sister ;D |

Sorry to hear this. I hope she'll be well enough to go out of hospital soon , and be able to enjoy the rest of her holiday.

thanks everyone, she will get the best care from her twin sister I know, hopefully she will be out of hospital today and can enjoy some of her holiday.

Well at least she'll have better weather G, has she studied her insurance?
