What's your favourite Christmas Carol? apart from Carol Kirkham I like 'Hark The Herald Angels Sing' It's interesting to google them.

The two I liked best as a child are Good King Wenceslas and Once in Royal David's City, because they both tell a story

Very difficult to choose. I think 'Once in Royal David's City' too - I love hearing the Kings' College choristers singing it. Or - 'In the bleak mid winter' but it has to be the right tune, not the dreary one. ;D

Absolutely right, Cherry - it sends shivers down my spine. Yes, hearing it again, that beats 'Once in R. D's C.' When we lived in Kent, we used to go to the Midnight Service in Rochester Cathedral on Christmas Eve - they always sang it there. Beautiful. Thank you for the link.
