Pastry has orange rind fresh orange juice and 1 egg .
Found this recipe on a garden site in 2006 and have made this pastry since.

Make the pastry using your usual recipe but bind it together with an egg and orange juice. I have just made a batch of mincepies today and had forgotten this tip. My next batch will definitely have an orange flavoured pastry. I have a Dundee cake cooking in the oven at the moment. I love baking at this time of year. |
