This comment was clarified a few days ago. It feels like such a long time ago now. It was only on that day that I did not put the heating on. I have had it on for months too. I am not that brave.

It does come on for an hour at 6.30am and then again at 6pm, I didn't mean we didn't have it on at all.

I can't believe how much snow you have had Steve, it does look lovely but where are your foot prints

down here it is compulsory to run through virgin snow, giggling like a child
