I've noticed some of the daffodils are now in bud. Plenty of new growth around but no flowers yet.

I have noticed some daffies poking their heads above ground, and the tulips were showing in November, but i think the cold weather we have now has slowed them down considerably. I think esp in the south spring could be very odd with the bulbs flowering so early. I read that daffies were already blooming at Eden

There are lots of them too. No doubt they are on a south facing hill, but nevertheless that is very early.
