I wonder if any of our South Wales members and visitors have heard anything on the news - or even grapevine ?
One of the wildlife forums i go on has had 2 members in that region seeing them over the past few days. A few more people, including 2 farmers there have 'experiences' too and it got me wondering if anyone on here, that live in that region, had experiences.
It's a subject that makes for interesting reading - being the sceptic i am i try and pick out the sensationalism from the genuine and ridiculous.

I've heard nothing about it on the main welsh news, and I don't think they can be here in the south west. Maybe people living in the south east would know.

I wondered if it was ever mentioned in any of the local papers too, Hywel ? Maybe it is further across because some of the posts in that forum were talking about acres of dense woodland areas aswell as vast areas of farmland.

I don't buy papers. Anyway our local ones only cover Carmarthenshire, and Swansea. There's been nothing on Radio Carmarthenshire about it. I've looked at the S W Wales news on the BBC webpage but there's nothing there. Nothing on the S E Wales page either. If I hear anything I'll let you know. I believe there was a big cat sighted somewhere in the Cardigan area not long ago, but I don't know much about it.

Haven't heard anything round this neck of the woods either. Got enough cats of my own here.

I liked the 'big cat' sighting which was on the news last summer, they only realised it was one of those huge stuffed toys when they were hovering above it with a marksman in a helicopter & it blew over in the draught! ;D
