;D Cherry, i was looking for a 1940s dress or skirt but the ones i saw were too big, i've sent them a message to ask if they could keep a lookout for some. It's a good site and when you look around it you see they've some great stuff there, i've kept the site and will look in there regularly.

You do realise that I used to wear a lot of clothes like the ones they have! ;D I did a double take at the word 'Crimplene' though - horrible material. And no - it wasn't the 1940s clothes.

Some pretty things on that site! I've got a few vintage dresses, skirts & jackets which I've bought from vintage shops & fairs, I love 1950s dresses & have a lovely blue flowered one I got from a vintage fair at Chester race course.

The blue flowered one sounds nice Sue. Are vintage fairs held all over the country, i wonder, presumably the stock covers everything - not just clothes ?

These are the ones I sometimes go to Floydie, the only trouble is you do have to pay to go into them, usually £3-£4. www.decorativefairs.co.uk/index.phpThey're all fairly local to me but there are probably similar ones near you too. I've been to a nice one in Leeds as well that was held in the Corn Exchange building. Most have clothes, bags, jewellery, crockery, linens etc.
