Louise I have 2 small shrubs in back garden but the birds never even gave the berries a chance but this one is in the front garden and has been left to bloom.
I bought it from Crocus plants .

The birds ate the berries on mine in the cold snap. They look a bit sorry for themselves so fingers crossed. I did take some semi-hard cuttings it would be nice if they take.

That's what the 'experts' say 'G' but mine was a loner until October and it produced loads of berries.

For 2 years it was in a perfect position but didn't produce berries, then I moved it to a bad site under a hedge and it thrived.

It was in full sun but it did better a shady place. I don't think it's the shade though as I've seem them do well in the open. Where it is now is very well drained.
