As most of you know,I organise the Salford Garden Bird Survey. It is similar to the R.S.P.B. big garden birdwatch and takes place over Christmas and New year.Completed forms have been dropping through my letterbox every day till last Tuesday which was the final day .I always make up a quiz which I send out with the forms and people send in their answers along with the forms and the winner wins a bird feeder.Sue A won it two years ago .This year she has sent me her survey form but didn,t enter the quiz, probably because she has enough bird feeders already.!
23 people answered the quiz but only 14 were all correct.I will draw out the winner next week.
So I decided to try the quiz out on you.You can email your answers to me if you wish and I will tell you how many you got right
Below are the names of 30 British birds but the consonants have been removed. All you have to do is replace them.

When people sent in their answers I realised that there are two possible answers to numbers 8, 12,and 21 so either is correct .Also numbers 3 and 29 are the same but there are 2 different birds but it doesn,t matter which order they are given in.
