I haven't unpacked my case, as they could possibly ring with a cancellation.

That's a nightmare isn't it, seems to happen quite a lot nowadays though, I think Merlin had an op cancelled on him at very short notice as well not long ago. At least they've given you another date & not left you hanging around waiting & not knowing. Hope the time flies & you're soon back to full health.

My sister actually got to hospital and waited 3 hours only to be told that her op had been cancelled. Let's hope they stick to the new date

Oh, I do hope so. I got my new appointment letter this morning - they have apologised and given me the new date, but there's a nasty sting in it too - it says if there's an emergency, there might not be a bed.

I've gone right off hospitals!
