Hallo everyone - I'm trying to get back into 'waiting patiently' mode after the awful shock of yesterday, which flattened me. I haven't unpacked my case, as they could possibly ring with a cancellation. Otherwise, I just have to go back to the gentle pursuits - I keep telling myself that it's not tooooo long to wait.

That's a nightmare isn't it, seems to happen quite a lot nowadays though, I think Merlin had an op cancelled on him at very short notice as well not long ago. At least they've given you another date & not left you hanging around waiting & not knowing. Hope the time flies & you're soon back to full health.

You have my sympathy G, as SueA says it seems to happen quite often. My sister actually got to hospital and waited 3 hours only to be told that her op had been cancelled. Let's hope they stick to the new date

Oh, I do hope so. I got my new appointment letter this morning - they have apologised and given me the new date, but there's a nasty sting in it too - it says if there's an emergency, there might not be a bed. I've gone right off hospitals!

Thank you - I'm so tired all the time. OH says it's due to lack of oxygen to my heart. I keep dozing off! I shall be soooo relieved if the next date isn't cancelled again. I can't influence it, so I just have to be a patient patient.
