Hello, Have a little pot of daisies that flowered late last year, then died off, in the pot looks like new ones sprouting at bottom, should I prune/pull the old ones out, only thing is a few of the old stalks have new little leaves sprouting ? Any advice greatly appreciated as you can probably tell from my posts I don't really know what I am doing ! Regards, Lawrence

Many thaks for reply,
Do I cut them all the way down to the base (pretty much finishing them off I guess ready for the new batch) or down to where there are some new green leaves forming which appear to be at different heights. If cuttting them all the way down is it better to pull them out to allow space for the new ones (very small pot) ?
Regards,
Lawrence

When you have removed the old stems just above the new growth, you could knock the plant out of the pot and split it into more than one plant, if you wanted more.

Many thanks for all the advice, will get the cutters out this weekend, they were really nice last year so look forward to them again this year.
Kind regards,
Lawrence
