Bit late in the day but I decided to bake Bara Brith to celebrate, it turned out a bit dry so I had to smother it with clover while it was still warm! I used to have a really good recipe for it given by a cleaner from the old office where O.H. used to work but I lost it & used one from a BBC website. Also a pic. of the first full size daff. which has just flowered in the front garden.

That looks lovely SueA. You are a good baker as well as a gardener and photographer. I have made Welsh cakes with children on St. David's Day.

Never mind Sue, my lovely neighbour brought round two dishes of tiramisu one of which I have just ate, and very nice too.
