We lost Peppa on Sunday morning it was such a shock , Popcorn free little one. My mother took me to Pets at Home later in the day for pet supplies, my mother called me other to the adoption center (rescue section) there was a young adult female guinea pig, she is blind in one eye, I just had to have her, she needed a good home with lots of love. And so this is Pippa (named Pippa as she reminds me of Peppa so a tribute to her). I just couldn't leave her in that tiny pen all alone.

Of course you couldn't leave her Floydie. I think we know you well enough to know that. She is very similar to Peppa in markings and you love her already.

Yes I do, she must have been well loved in her last home as she is very tame and loves a cuddle, the reason she was in the adoption center was "New Home" , It makes me sad that people can just give their pets up like that.

Looks like she's found a good home. unfortunately Guinea pigs are not the most long lived animals. We used to have quite a few when the family was younger.

that's sad news about peppa floydie was pippa born blind in one eye? or she had an accident? I think she was born this way, one eye is very small and is mostly covered by her eye lids, I think she may have slight sight out of the bad eye as she responds to sudden movement on that side of her. She has settled in fine now shes loopy running around the cage .
