I seem to remember that last time on or two didn't like the voting method. It's a fun idea, so long as it's kept strictly flora and wildlife. As for the prize, well I don't know about you but I have enough seed to last for ever

Do we need a prize? If I took a pic of a butterfly, what can one say? not a lot. If we want to post a nice pic, maybe it could be more bloggish, a bit of a story with it. I think some of us got a bit tired of the last format.

...sorry slipped in to dragons den mode then, to be honest I don't think I would have time to run one, if anyone else wants to and you can all agree on the format and voting system (miracles can happen) then I don't see why not

The competition was good because we saw some great photographs from some excellent photographers. Do we really need a competition to do this?

I started a thread in "Non-gardening chat" for all these photos. We can all still see and admire them without the hassle and work.

And maybe a packet of seed would make a good prize (cheep to buy cheep to post).

And then you can see a lot of good and different photography but definate no prize. Just the fun and pleasure.

How about one every season ? That would be four times a year. A little prize would add to it I think. Perhaps the winner could donate a prize for the next competition ?
