I bought a Taylors' 'Karma Choc' for the garden Tel, because I wanted a red one with dark foliage. Its a good size and feels firm, but one of the tubers has broken off. Will this bit be any good?

The piece that has broken off will be no good but the rest of the tuber will be ok. I find that happens a lot with tubers in pkts, rough handling and all that.

Thanks, your Dahliaship - I might try to go back, as they really were cheap! ;D No 'David Howard' though. I'm hoping that the GCs get their dahlias in soon. Have i been promoted now.

I am glad your Vancouver, is not a show dahlia. With centres like those on the pic, it would be classed as a serious fault on the show bench.
