They're a lovely colour. I like the alpinas and macropetalas. ;D
I think my favourite is 'Helsingborg'. I'll post a photo later.

That is a really lovely Clematis My favourite is Etoile Violette which does really well in our garden

Yes, Esther - in mine, too! I love clems. Here's 'Helsingborg' It's my favourite C. alpina. And C. montana 'Broughton Star' which is the latest montana to flower in my garden. It doesn't seem to be quite as vigorous as the other montanas, but it's my favourite.

Ester and Geranium thankyou for sharing your beautiful clematis ,I have many that I let grow through shrubs also 2 in hanging baskets .
