hi Rosie R, watching the news about the excessive amounts of radon in your part of the world. Hope you are not affected by it. Wouldn't like to think of you glowing in the dark ;D On the other hand it would save on torch batteries. Where I lived previously there was high concentrations of radon . makes me wonder if that was a cause of the cancer I got I don't think it is really much to worry about though as people have lived with it for millenia.

Don't worry Rosie, since Radon is just a gas it doesn't glow anymore but it's still radioactive... off topic I had radiotherapy a couple of years ago for something and I found out that it won't make me glow in the dark... too bad! My nephews and nieces would have been impressed! ;D

We go through Portsoy quite regularly Jim, it's a nice wee place I spent many a summer in Portsoy as a youngster,(yes I was young once )had relatives who lived there. Even had a pet monkey which lived in the front garden in summer. We had a radon test when we moved house as well. No ph test though Anyway glad you and he are ok
