Your Akebia is lovely Geranium, and your bluebells are way ahead of mine which are only showing leaves at the moment

Has your Akebia fruited yet? No, never, floydie. My blue ones are starting now. Thanks, peony - I'm sure they'll catch up. I hope my 'pinkbells' appear again!

Thanks, CPB. ;D Have you ever seen this before? I planted it in place of a dead Euonymus lucidus. It's Lonicera involucrata. It's a hardy shrub, and it should get black berries after the flowers. My weeping pear opened its flowers today. The white Honesty (Lunaria annua) is in flower too. Exochorda 'The Bride' is beginning to open up. And the tulips I planted in my troughs in the back garden are full out. They're called 'Cap d'Or'.

Some more flowers open in my garden. Tulipa 'Little Beauty' Arenaria montana Cerinthe major 'Purpurascens' Dodecatheon maedia 'Alba' Uvularia grandiflora Fragaria 'Pink Panda' Phlox stolonifera 'Blue Ridge' Amazingly, the first maroon Iris is in bloom!
