I'm afraid they're not hardy enough to handle much below -3 or 4. I do love it, though - I might dig it up and put it in the greenhouse for the winter again.

I bought another Olearia, too - Olearia phlogopappa 'Comber's Pink' - it was there in front of me with 'Master Michael' so it came home with me. I bet I'll have to over-winter that in the greenhouse, too!

Yes, I planted a whole lot two years ago, and not a lot happened. I tried again this year - even put some in a pot! I had three green shoots and one pathetic flower from those. Lo and behold, I have some flowers from the first lot I planted! ;D

They're very unusual plants, aren't they. I had to get a photo of one ID'd, as I hadn't a clue what they were when I first saw them in an Open Garden. Let's hope they settle down and flower every year now.

A friend in the village has a... well ... how shall I put this? Errr...she likes her garden full of Lamium galeobdolon & dandelions etc...but one grassed area is full of these - all flowering away madly, spreading like crazy too. She did say she'd dig me up some, which would be lovely. I hope she remembers.
