What cops? We only have a plastic policeman in the area - and nowhere near here. I'm thinking of hiring bodyguards, only they would be 'Shrubguards' in this case, of course. ;D

I know it's early, but I decided to start on my pots today. Everything is so far ahead in my garden - I've got buds on my oriental poppies, so they won't be long. This is what I did. My Kalmia latifolia is almost in flower, and so is the Boulevard Clematis in the back of the pot - so I planted five Nemesia plants round it. Nemesia 'Dark Maroon' I like the colours together. I think it needs some white trailing plants, too...maybe Bacopa?

I think the white bacopa would look good Geranium Its a lovely mix of plants and something trailing down the pot (which looks quite tall) would balance the height at the back. ;D

Thank you, Cherry. Yes, Peony. I absolutely agree, and I'll plant some white Bacopa tomorrow. I grew them on from tiny plug plants for this pot! I should have put them in today to 'finish' it. Not sure why I didn't!

I think the colours look good together G I've just bought Kalia Minuet to replace the corokia, can't wait to see the flowers open, it's full of buds

I should be able to as I can grow rhodo and azaleas, and I made sure it was hardy, the man at Endsleigh House Nursery is a very knowledgeable person when it comes to trees and shrubs, and he hasn't let me down yet

I wonder how different it is from mine? It'll be interesting to compare the flowers.

Here's the pot with the Bacopa added. It will trail a lot more as it grows.
