back to hobbies:- I do a bit of amateur astronomy, not that we've seen much stars of late . This is another hobby that relies on decent weather. Missed the transit of venus because of clouds but did manage a pic of the sun recently ( a rare event lately) It does show a few sunspots The hazy bit is clouds sneaking in

That's a great photo Sweetpea, you'll have to tape it to the window so it looks like it's shining on you!

Everyone seems to have such interesting hobbies, and everyones so talented too, I don't really have a talent, unless i become 'the guinea pig whisperer' i used to love cross stitching when i was little with my mum, but i seemed to just get so frustrated with threading needles

Give yourself time Twiams. You are still at the age where you try different things until you find what you like. Try as much as you can.

Some years back when we had guinea pigs they had the run of the garden and also in the house. there was a schefflera plant in the porch which they loved to eat the leaves of. They kept the grass cut short which saved a bit of time with less mowing to do. Also fertilised the grass too. Our cats didn't seem to bother them at all and they got on quite happily together. Don't think I have any pics though.
