I'm sure theres probably been other threads like this but i'm quite curious and nosey as to what all of you have as other hobbies and how you like to pass your time when your not out in the garden !
Mine would be photography and my piggies are a hobby i guess !

My problem is that I have too many hobbies twains ;D and not enough time for ordinary stuff like cleaning I knit, sew, embroider and make little craft things. I read and collect books ( also collect other things like seeds, pots, envelopes, fancy paper, pencils , pens, buttons , £2 coins, scissors..... a touch of OCD I think . I`m interested in bookbinding and make little books and tools. I also do a bit of diy usually woody things around the garden . I made this spice rack yesterday out of left over trim from my new kitchen ( which me and my big brother put in a few months ago ) Phew ! not a bit of wonder I`m so tired

When I have time I paint, I used to paint murals in the children's ward of hospitals in the area and even in the shelter for homeless kids, now I think me and the other volunteers have just about painted all of them. Now I just do rock art mostly paint animals on round stones to put in the container with my potted plants or paint the entire clay pot itself. Cross-stitch embroidery when it's raining. I'm trying to find time to take pottery classes but just don't have time to sit in class for 6 hours each day for a week or two.

We both read, and have far too many books. We also share a love of doing puzzles - he likes Sudokus and 'Freecell' and I prefer word puzzles...I do tapestry when it's raining and in the evenings. I used to paint in oils - I should start that again!

I used to breed and show Springer Spaniels, then took up Cockers when I reached old age The granddaughter of my original cocker is showing well in Scotland and already qualified for Crufts. I am not doing this any more. I still enjoy knitting.

I read a lot; when I'm not too tired ...Used to do fine cross stitch work but my eyes aren't what they used to be. Do a lot of volunteering/fundraising for a couple of charities; My main "relaxing" hobby is knitting.....coming to the end of a 3 ply jacket that I started in January
