I do remember the occasion well Millman. You sent me off to buy Acer Orange Dream because it was cheap and it is doing really well. In fact it is in a fairly large pot now. I would lose it here in the fen winds if it went into the garden, but the pot goes into the garden when its leaves are not in danger of being windburnt. You had a small Acer which a builder trod on and broke. I hope there was enough left to grow. Have you seen pictures of Steve's? He will boast about them as soon as they are in full leaf and colour up.
I always think of you when I look at my Acers Millman. My plants all seem to be memories of people.

Thanks for posting the photo of the Viburnum, Grindle. How old is the plant in the photo? It was about 3 years old G. I had a look yesterday and it is now nearly 6fy high at the tallest point and about 4 1/2 wide, just coming into bud

So it's a reasonably fast growing shub, then - that's good. It also helps me to look at the area and plan where it's going - thanks.

Just ordered a Plumaria....been wanting one for ages ;D Should that say 'Plum eria' Lou? I just googled it and that's what came up - an alias for 'Frangipani' it says. Is this for indoors? Come on - more detail please, like what colour it is etc.

A treat to go to Otter, too. PG are selling off all their shrubs from last year, nothing over £3, but I resisted most of it

Welll done - but if you take out your existing shrubs, it sounds like a perfect opportunity to 'ring the changes'. ;D
