Its a Pieris Twiams and looks as though its been underplanted with white lillies

Why yes it is mine ;D We we're given it a while ago, and as it's in the corner i never give it much attention but i've recently noticed the flowers and can't help but love it, looks great, so glad i know what it is now

You will notice that the pink leaf is the new growth which will carry flowers next year. See how it is coming up from a bud beside the spent flower. Be careful if you take the old flowers off that you don't disturb these buds. The old flaking stem is nice too. I love tree trunks and stems.

Give it a half strength liquid feed a couple of times during summer (still get one in now). By half strength I mean half the normal (diluted) recommended strength of the manufacturers packaging. Miracle grow or Phostrogen is fine. This plant is an Ericaceous plant so likes an acid, low nutrient soil. It still needs weak feeds though as so much is lost in containers by leaching out of the bottom of the pot.

Glad it was explained to me, feel a bit of a plank now though haha.
