The tree paeony which flowered this year for the first time now has large seed pods which I only just noticed today.
Wonder if I'll get some viable seeds later.

Should do. When they germinate,strangely they put a root down first year, then send a shoot up in the second!

My tree paeony flowered for the first time last year, but sulked this year. Not a single bud!  Why was that, do you think? |
