spent today down the allotment and decided to use round up in a spray ended up useing a watering can as the sprayer was not workin properly it was just comeing out in a jet it was all over my ****** hands ididnt realy want to use a wk but needs must the garden is mkassive and the other kid is working all the time so its just trying to keep in front i have four beds dug over so may put some winter stuff in october am not much of a gardener so hopefull y someone will tell me what i can plant for over the winter and when

I use a weedol spray for such as bindweed and nettles Rob but it's prob the same chemical (glyphosate)
Overwintering cabbage for cropping in spring can be sown now, not much else really ...savoy cabbage, brussel sprouts, leeks will all overwinter but should be growing well by now
