Thank you all for your lovely messages, you are all very kind. Beryl is not well, she is not responding to any treatment so they have stopped it now and so it will only be a matter of time.
Her niece and I were with her yesterday but it was as if she didn't even know we were there.

Thank you lesley , I've just peeped in after a few days of not looking. Beryl is much the same, responds sometimes but there is no way they can get her better. Since there is no treatment they can give her I have asked if she could come home for the rest of the time she has to live. The hospital is such a dismal place. We will be able to speak to the consultant about it on Wednesday.
