I am still not computer ‘savvy’ Everything I learned in the beginning came from Garden Friends, which had a different name then. Even my avatar, Cherry, is a mistake. I don’t like cherries as these, apples and peaches were the main crops in our orchard and I had to pick them to help out. ‘Cherry’ was meant to be the password or something else.

Last week I was very upset when I tried to do a little basic weeding, but chair yoga, using the resistance band, has helped build up my strength and yesterday I managed to achieve a lot more. I am on a cardiac rehabilitation programme too, where most exercises are the same, but I was looking for too much too soon. Normal walking caused the most problems and I still finish my walks looking drunk. I have been out for dinner twice, so can now take a late night.

Now I must finish my walks in Scotland, so I am flying up to Inverness on Friday evening to visit my son in Elgin.

still early days Cherry you've done amazingly well in such a short time, I know it can be frustrating but you will get there in the end then you will be able to enjoy the garden in the spring. Have a lovely time with your son and enjoy being spoilt
