Antibiotics for the tooth, but if they don't work or if the infection comes back, the tooth will have to go. Shame Got back, took out my plate and apiece fell off it. Just a clasp that holds on to a tooth so not really needed. We went to Gc.on the way home, 2 in fact. We bought nothing despite the first one having lots of really cheap shrubs. The second one has plants at huge prices even in the remainder section. Their sale prices are higher by far than I would pay for the plant when not remaindered.

#geumgrower, glad you have got antibiotics as they normally clear up any infection in a week or so. So by this time next week the infection should have cleared up. 👍

Pain is really bad at the moment. Wish the antibiotics would start working soon. I have been a member for 7 years. Flime ties when you are having fun.

The tooth is really bad at the moment. Even with painkillers. Cannot take many more of them as the side effects kick in after a while.

geumgrower, I really hope you start to feel better tomorrow! I've had toothache in the past, as I suppose most people have had at sometime or another, so we can all sympathize with you!

Not even sure this is an infection, it could just be an exposed nerve as my gums are receding, leaving the root exposed. In that case it is definitely an extraction. Trouble is that despite everything, the tooth is firmly fixed in. Would mean 2 visits as well, one day to have various moulds taken and to leave my plate for the addition of an extra tooth and then the following day for the tooth itself and to fit the altered plate. Not looking forward to that. The numbing stuff does not wear off for days with me. In fact parts of my feet have never regained full feeling after having operations on my arthritic big toes. Always worry that I will end up with a semi-numb face.

Hi everyone, long time no post, not sure why so no excuses...just putting it down to life getting in the way. Read back a little away to catch up a bit on your news. Smart looking driveway...very nice indeed. Leaky roof...definitely not good. Friendly art group, sounds perfect. Toothache is never good, hope it gets sorted soon. Celebrating a 2nd anniversary as a forum member...congratulations. grindle so sorry for your loss of Dylan , he was a very handsome furry fella. lesley my heart goes out to you, rest assured your Mum is in good hands and will be made comfortable at all times. We had a brilliant Palliative Care team who came to the house for my Dad. They looked after his every need and my siblings and mine too. Can't praise them enough. Keeping you both in my thoughts. Sorry if I've missed anyone out. I will catch up more tomorrow...I promise.
