Thank you Eli and SueA it's nice to be back here with you all once more. Everything is good here thanks, like everyone I'm busy sowing and nurturing seeds/ seedlings at the moment. Hectic but nevertheless one my favourite parts about gardening.

Aww grindle how exciting for you all. Have a really brilliant time. Although our sons don't live that far away we only get to see them a few times a year ,when working the weekends seem so short for visits. Thankfully modern technology is brilliant so we still have our online get togethers. I keep reminding my sister of how lucky she is to have all her children and grandchildren still living locally. Enjoy your time together. x

You are all making me homesick as all my grandchildren and great grandchildren live in Australia. I have 2 sons in the UK. I will be looking after my Cocker Spaniel grandfurbaby at Christmas for a month or more while my Scottish son visits the family. I am still recovering from a heart operation and then a fairly serious fall and can’t travel yet. The cocker is a great grandson of my own from here. I don’t know why I think that is important, but it is special.

Oh Cherry sorry to hear that you've had a tough time lately. Spring will soon make it's presence felt and that will hopefully give a boost to your recovery.

Cherry, I think furbabies are family so having generations of their bloodline is awesome! I hope you recover soon.

5 years - it really doesn't seem that long geumgrower, doesn't time fly! We've been in this house nearly 10 years now, it only seems like 5 minutes & some of the neighbours still ask are we settling in & do we like living here now! 😁

grindle do you think your son got Covid on the aeroplane? I came back to Scotland with a serious flu which came from the plane.
