The problem is that he had gone for a day out on his motorbike and had a massive heart attack. He was only 61 and had no history of heart problems that we know of. Now there has to be a p.m and nothing can be done until that has happened. His bike is still in Lincolnshire. Not sure how daughter is going to get that home. Cannot just abandon it, as it is worth a fair amount of money.

That is so awful geumgrower & such a shock for your poor daughter & grandchildren. Did your son-in-law have any friends who ride motorbikes, perhaps they could get a lift from someone & temporary insurance to ride it back?

Other son in law rides bikes so worse case he could be driven over there and pick it up. Problem for all of us is the distance we all live from each other.

I've had a problem with abandoned cats over the last year, finally I'm getting help from Cats Protection, 2 have been trapped and are on their way to a better life, just one to go who seems determined not to play the game, I'm hoping this morning that he's been hungry enough to take the food from the trap but I won't know until it's light enough to check, I so want him to be in a safe environment before the bad weather kicks in, last year they were living in my greenhouse and gazebo with food and warm beds, hopefully I can catch him and send him to his happy life
