My day out yesterday it was glorious weather and a lovely place to be. Just a few pictures to show you, after Scotney we went to Bewl Water Reservoir which is the largest stretch of open water in the South East and an important source of driking water. It can hold more than 31,000 million litres of water enough to provide 200 million people for one day. We sat and had lunch there, then ambled home. Bewl Waters. Enterance into the house. As you can see not a cloud in the sky.

Hi Lesley, those photos make me all nostalgic for our previous life in Kent! We used to visit all the NT properties in that area, and OH's parents lived near Bewl, so we often walked there with the children. Have you been there before? The weather down there looks wonderful!

Hi Geranium, no I hadn't been there before it was beautiful and such lovely weather to go with it, I dont now that side of Sussex very well. OH works over that side at Ninefield so he kept coming home and telling me about all these places that we are going to visit now we've joined the National Trust.
