What have you asked for Christmas?
I hate it when people ask me for my Christmas list because it feels like a shopping list rather than a gift. I personally like matching just the right present to the person.
But I've asked Father Christmas for a purple wheelbarrow. ;D
My fingers are crossed, I hope that I've been a good enough girl and that the shop that I used to see them displayed outside still does them.........
Seriously I would love a purple wheelbarrow for Christmas, then I could pretend to be a real gardener .

I think we have this every year around Christmas time moonlight. Personally I take anything I get with thanks and every year I have never had that truckload of farmyard manure which I first mentioned to my OH way back in the 1970s I would like however a summer that lives up to its name but that can't be wrapped up and stuck under the tree. A DSLR camera would be much appreciated though.

I'd love a new laptop. This one is ancient, and keeps freezing. It's so slow, too! It would be a palaver getting all my files onto a new one, but we use a small shop about 8 miles away for all our IT needs - and they'd do everything. I'm working on it! I'd also like another piece of driftwood as a feature in my newly created bed...but the guy who sells them is in New Zealand collecting more pieces, so I can't have one until the spring. :(Every year I hint that Garden Vouchers would be gratefully received - but I've never been given any.

Geranium I always get garden vouchers. The givers know they are really appreciated and this recipient saves them up to make them a worthwhile value.

I usually get some welcome garden vouchers too. I've put out a few hints for Carol Klein's latest book

Peony I wanted some yoga things and I was looking on line. This means that everything I looked at came up in moving advertising, even on the forum. My husband got hints from that. I know they are here now, but I can't see them.

Same here Rosie, but my pretty ones are all away in a cupboard so that they don't get dusty. I wonder where my two sons got their OCD from. I even have a signed Nigella one.

Joe Maiden the Radio Leeds gardening celebrity was signing his book, Grow with Joe at our local garden centre yesterday. I did not take my copy that i received last Christmas for signing, in case the garden centre thought i had nicked it. ;D

You should have taken your book Tel. You know you could have told them it is your copy.

Geranium I always get garden vouchers. The givers know they are really appreciated and this recipient saves them up to make them a worthwhile value. I wish my family would take note - maybe I'll ask, not hint!
