I know it's all about giving, and I was delighted that my hyacinth baskets were a great success, but what did you get from your families/friends that you really liked? I got some Garden Vouchers! Thrilled to bits - I'll enjoy spending those next year. ;D Great new books to read, too. Obviously, my new laptop is the star. Thank you husband!

That sounds beautiful! Will you wear it all the time, or just for 'special' occasions?

best of all I got an eternity ring from husband, Saphire and Diamonds. ;D Fantastic, you are very lucky Lesley. Are you going to need new gardening gloves as well because you won't want to get your eternity ring dirty.
I received some lovely presents but nothing gardeningy at all (but bought a nice pair of purple wellies today) and my fingers are crossed for my purple wheelbarrow for my Birthday.
The best present we gave were the a set of 180 stickers for our daughters, each printed with their name and motif (Rose and Pirate). Each time they opened present such as books or things in a box, they stuck their name on it. Best idea that I have had in ages.
I was most excited about the remote control helicopter and table football set that I bought for my husband but he has not had a chance to build it / fly it outside. He spends so much time working and I think that it was about time he had a bit of fun as well.

Moonlight, you will have to point out that garden vouchers start at £5.00 and they soon add up if you get these for Mothers' Day, birthdays, etc.
