This is the 3rd yr I've taken part, put out my food as I do every day, I even put out a bargain new feeding pole ( from pound stretcher £7.99 been out about a week so the birds will be used to it) Sat down at the window, too cold to sit out side, and waited when the birds arrived so did next doors cat!! Got rid or her with the threat of Sam our lab, returned to watch and as soon as the birds were flocking in to the tables Alfie the other neighbors cat arrived. How am I supposed to take part if they keep being threatened . Just looked up as I'm typing this and I have several blackbirds and a thrush on the grass area, so maybe I'll start now.

It's a problem here, too - Henry likes to amble in and out in the morning, so I'll have to wait until I've taken him for his walk, then he'll stay in his bed for a while.

I shall do mine from my green house while I'm working in there, we've had a few this morning still rather cold.

It was bird mayhem around the feeders this morning, it's not easy to count them when they keep moving. We counted the Blackbirds and the Robbins and were working on the Dunnocks when the Postman arrived.
We'll have another go later.
