An educated guess, I hope I am right, a vase of 3 Downham Royal's. Enjoy your celebration well deserved.

Congratulation Moonlight I also did very well at our Summer Show, not quite as big as yours but all the same it's a lovely feeling when you've put so much work into it all, shall now wait for pic to arrive.

Novice Classes.
I forgot my potatoes after gently washing them down with a children's paintbrush. All that work!
I ran out of time to pick a whole set of tomatoes. I needed to spend a lot of time helping girlies make their edible necklaces. My job was making holes large enough to push the fruit sweet laces through the hole. Without breaking them.
Family comes first. I did have a hanging basket to take but it was just my trailing begonias and quite big and spread out. It wasn't good enough to justify the amount of stress that taking it would have meant. There were no other entries in those classes so I could have won those classes but then family comes 1st. I got up early but not crack of dawn. Picked some blackberries (got prickled) and some flowers but they were not good enough and I just decided, 'You know what, they are not worth it out of everything it's the dahlias that are really important to me.
On route to the car I looked down and thought, no I've still got to take my fuchsia because it is beautiful and extra special to me because my Sister bought it for me. We had one each.
My Downham Royal was the only one it's class and their were 2 in the pot plant class. nb This show is good because it only awards if it is considered good enough. There were classes with entries that were not awarded a placing. I had 1 spare Downham Royal which I could have entered but I only thought about it after the staging deadline. Still good thing really I think it would have stressed the people dealing with the entry cards.

Staging was very difficult staggered over to the where the other people were staging, with my cans and then had to stagger back to the car to stage in the back of our car. Which isn't flat.(There just wasn't anywhere for me to stage and there was no way that I could stage on the pavement}.
I started with my poms. 1 vase of 5. I've never done a 5 before and I was absolutely rubbish. I think that I've only done a vase of 3 three or four times. So I'm pretty rubbish at that.
Mr Pom man was there and I've changed my mind about him. I was very happy that I had found 6 blooms that I could cut. He said that I wouldn't be able to do anything with only 1 plant so I really wanted to show him that I could. Once we had staged I asked him if he had seen my dahlias. "Your dahlias? You've got some dahlias entered in the show?" So I went down and showed him my poms and he turned and looked at my and said "Why didn't you keep the stems long?". I said because I couldn't do it! I tried, I really did but this was the best that I could do. He said something like 'Nevermind' and then I showed him my Downham Royals and my Weston Pirates. He turned and looked me in the eye and asked: "Don't you think it needs a drop of water?".
You know what I liked him after that. I respected him opinion and it was important to me that he took me seriously to. He didn't laugh at me (or make me feel like he was laughing at me) He was also really nice to my girls and made them laugh, so anyone that makes my girls smile, is a friend to me (Dahlias or no dahlias). He will take me seriously because although I didn't even get placed in the poms class. I did beat him and my Dad in another class. I know that I am a baby in all of this mad world of dahlias but I am loving it, even though I'm up against all these big guns, loads of plants per variety and covers. Me with my single plants of Jomanda, Mary's Jomanda, my Westons, having a go.
Dad said that Mr Pom man was talking about giving up on dahlias because he is too old and it is getting too much for him. I think that that would be really sad. Really sad. He loves his dahlias. They are his passion. His life. Very crusty round the edges and very competitive. Just like my Dad (well not the crusty round the edges part, Dad's more of a 'grumpy round the edges' man).
