This is such an easy recipe but the bread is fabulous ;D
400g strong white bread flour. 150ml milk 150ml warm water 7g dried yeast. Grated cheese of your choice.
Add liquid to flour and yeast, knead for 10 mins (i do it in my kenwood). Leave to prove for 45 mins - 1 hour or untill doubled in size.
Knock back the dough and knead for a couple of mins, at this point i sometimes add a herb like thyme or what ever i have available.
Divide mixture into 8 balls and put into a round baking tin starting with one in the centre of the tin and leave to rise.
Sprinkle on cheese and bake for around 20 mins at 190/200c.

I will give that a try Rosie. Thankyou.
I am making a heavy wholemeal at present with three sorts of seeds in with it. I need to go to the Denver Mill for more heavy wholemeal flour. Husband does not like it and I have to make white bread for him.
