LB do you make your own sausages? That is clever of you.
I was admiring a reconditioned wood stove that the engineer bought on Ebay to take to France. It is a real beauty and will stay in his boot until he gets there. It is too heavy to shift, so he will use his tractor in France.

Just came across this Ladybird, I think it might be one of the patterns you're looking for. I haven't joined the site which appears to be free but I think when you're a member you get access to the pattern. www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/peter-rabbit-2

Thank You sue , Got a bit excited but they don`t actually have the pattern to view. Never mind I have come across another vintage peter rabbit 4 ply pattern that is cheap so I might go for that , just trying to source all the colours in 4 ply.

Very good LB. No horsemeat either. You could make lots of different sorts to ring the changes.
I have received the knitting pattern which Lou told me about for the lace and cable jumper. It is beautiful. Isn't this forum great for helping out with our non-gardening hobbies? There can't be another like it.

Aww, sorry to get your hopes up Ladybird, I thought if you joined you'd get the pattern where it said 'written pattern' but obviously not, never mind, at least you've found something else. Peter Rabbit must be extremely popular from the prices people pay online for the patterns etc.

I like the fact that if you buy a pattern, you can download it straight away....no waiting for it to be posted to you; you have your own "library" so you can see all the patterns you have. I get the patterns from my lace club through here too.

you do lace Lou ? what kind collars crochet knitting ? shawls....well I'm trying .....I've dabbled for years....but taking it more seriously now. Problem is my fingers are not so agile....nor is my brain....so its taking some time...... I got some 3 ply yarn and some "hand made" 12mm knitting needles from a couple of posters on another forum....goodness knows how I will manage them
