The day hasn't turned out as forecast at 6am today! It has been better with much more sunshine than forecast & none of the rain! I think the wind may have been a little stronger than predicted but the day was very warm, if you were in a place protected from it!
It appears we are in for a VERY warm week next week! According to the Met Office app we can expect the temps to start rising tomorrow from today's 23C to 26C on Sunday & then for the next few days temps increasing 1 or 2C daily up to nearly 30C on Wednesday! 🥵 🥵 And to think one of our sons has returned to Spain, where he lives, after visiting us for a week & the other has just gone to Mallorca for a week! On Thursday a sister of mine returned after a week on Mallorca as well.

Welcome to the warmth of late July! 😂 They say "Better late than never" well it appears that the great British summer may have arrived - for a few days at least! 👍😂
At 6am we have the same temp as yesterday, 13C, only unlike then we expect the skies to be clear all morning and into the early afternoon. Temps will be several degrees higher as well with 26C predicted! This is just the prelude to the higher temps of the coming week when it's possible that we may reach 30C here! Just when people are leaving the UK to find sun and hotter weather abroad! 🙄

Another lovely day here with a high of 25C. Next week we have a couple of days predicted to reach 31C...too hot for me.  |

Hope you like the warm /hot weather today as its forecast to stay around for a few days!
To begin the day we already have 16C and that's at 6am! The Met Office app forecasts 28C later in the day!

Morning all 🙋
Once again we start the new day with 16C. Yesterday we reached 28C and today on the Met Office app they forecast 29C. The thing I find curious is that the wind direction is mostly from the NE, normally a rather coolish direction 🤔.
As my wife and I spent most of the day out, at the eye clinic in a hospital in a bigger town than this one, we didn't feel hardly any of the high temps in the air conditioned hospital or trains. 😄
