Good morning on this lovely August morning! 👋

I haven't looked outside yet but we seem to have clear skies 🌞. The forecast is for another very warm British summer day! Temps at 6am are 17C and our max is once again expected to be in the high 20sC. I didn't hear any rain overnight so I assume we didn't have any. I woke up very frequently during the night as I have a sore throat and at times found it difficult to breathe.

The thunder and lightning did not put in an appearance at all yesterday and today we will have lots of sunshine. 🌞🌞🌞🥵🥵🥵

We had a very welcomed spell of short, sharpe rain showers yesterday afternoon and it was so lovely, our garden looked and smelt so refreshed on our return home....and all our water butts were full . Didn't need to water the garden in the evening....such a treat!!

Today we're back to full sunshine mode high of 26C.

No rain here for us yesterday but we may have some from midmorning till midday (noon) when the possible showers are forecast to end.

We had expected heavy rain and possibly thunder storms on Thursday night but they never turned up.

This morning we begin the day with 17C at 6am. Our max is expected to be about 26C today.

The day has been very much cooler here today with a max of about 22-23C! Sun has been mostly absent the majority of the day with only occasional peeks through the cloud cover. Fortunately the wind, even though it's been from the SW most of the time, was quite cool but not strong. Our min tonight is expected to be about 12C - a big difference from 17C just 2-3 nights ago!

Tomorrow we expect a warmer day again - not the high 20sC but mid 20sC.But I think it will be the warmest day of the coming week!
