Morning everyone 👋
A very warm start to the day here with 18C at 6am! The temps will begin to climb very quickly once the sun comes out and we are forecast 32C at 4pm
We had a beautifully clear sky around 10pm last night when I went out onto the balcony for a few minutes. I was able to see some pin pricks of light way up high in the sky, I believe they call them "stars"! 😂

Don't like to complain about our weather but....too hot for comfort today as we have a busy day ahead and the low 30's is not going to be good at all.  |

9am we have had a very light shower. Due for a heavy downpour about 4ish. A very warm start so far.

A few ripples of thunder, but only 30 seconds of rain. Not that warm either. No sun.

I took our daughter's dog out this afternoon, about 2.30ish, about the same time as yesterday as well, but although it certainly felt hot nevertheless it felt hotter yesterday when we had 27C! I'm rather doubtful or sceptical about the temps reaching 32-34C here today! Then no matter what weather site I look at all say more or less that we WILL have those sort of temps! I suppose I will just have to accept their forecasts as more or less right!  |

Here we have the local forecast from the Met Office for this afternoon. Like the previous forecast above, it also predicts temps in the low 30sC  |

Think there was a little rain in the night & a light shower this morning but it's been very humid, we went for a 5 k run this morning but cut it a bit short as we were dripping with sweat & then sunny this afternoon.

not the heatwave that was promised here, cloudy morning, just a high of 21C the sun finally broke through in the afternoon and got a bit warmer to 24C

After the hottest day of the year yesterday today will seem a little cooler but even so we still expect 27C!
At 6am we have 14C but it's quite humid. At 2.30am I woke up covered in sweat! Sunshine is the main theme of today's weather.

Scorcher here too yesterday in the low 30's all afternoon, not pleasant at all. Today will be a lot better at 25c

Fresher but bright, warm & breezy this morning but pouring down with rain this afternoon & evening! Stood out in the garden last night with my OH at 11pm watching the Perseids & satellites going over in the warm evening air! 😊
