The day here has been more or less what was forecast this morning when I looked at the weather app around 6.30am. Then we were forecast sunshine & clear skies till about 12 noon which is more or less what we had, though a lot of clouds began to appear between 11 & 12 noon. They didn't block out the sun though so the afternoon, though a lot cloudier than the morning, had lots of sunny spells alternating with the clouds. I haven't checked back on the app to see what temps we had but I imagine that the 21-22C forecast was pretty much on the ball! The wind did make the morning fell rather cooler, my wife & I were waiting for someone to pick us up in his car& the 5 mins we were waiting we found the gusts of wind to be rather unpleasantly cold!

Tonight we are forecast long clear spells but temps will fall quite quickly to only about 12C, so a chiller night in prospect! Then, once the sun gets to warming up the air a little, we should reach 22-23C. So another pleasant day will be had tomorrow as well!

No rain is forecast for the coming 5 or 6 days at least!

Goes cold very quickly with the cloud cover though.

Our day seems very similar to yours, grindle ! I went down town but put on a thick woollen jacket before leaving the house. Well it served its purpose of keeping me warm - a bit too warm at times!

Out of the fresh wind I was too warm at times & had to open it sometimes!

After a more or less sunny morning the afternoon today has been predominately cloudy. With hardly a glimpse of the sun the last few hours. The cool wind seems to have dropped & it's calm. The temps have dropped along with the wind it seems as now we have only about 18C! We managed to get up into the low 20sC & it seems tomorrow will be similar in many respects to today with the exception that there is a slight risk of a thunderstorm during the day! I was surprised when I saw a yellow warning for thunderstorms appear in the notification area at the top of my phone this morning! I hadn't read anything about them in this region of the UK! We will see if they put in an appearance tomorrow!
