We've got yellow alerts too for thunder and heavy rain but so far....nothing, as you say balc2 they cover such a large area so can't be relied on with any accuracy .
We're predicated to have the coolest day that we've had for a long time today with a high of only 19C... will have to start searching for our thermals soon!!!

The night was rather fresh here so we put a blanket on our bed! Today will also be fresh as we are forecast just 18C as our max! Me thinks it's time to get out a light jumper!

It's very cloudy this morning and we expect showers throughout the day.

In regards to the temps the Met Office app got it spot on! I looked at the weather on another app & at 4pm it said 18C! As for rain the yellow warning for rain was cancelled for today! It has been cancelled for tomorrow as well! We didn't see a drop of rain in the whole day! There's a 30% chance of rain tomorrow morning but may well amount to nothing.

Looks like tomorrow will be almost a repeat of today's weather but with less sun & more cloud. Temps are forecast to be similar to today's as well so only 18C max. I put a light jumper on this morning & haven't had to take it off all day!

I'll have to wear it again tomorrow all day by the look of things! But I'm not likely to need it on Friday at least as we are forecast 26C!!! I've checked the Met Office app again & it seems I shan't need the jumper on Saturday either as they forecast 24C as max.

At the moment we have some weak sunshine but it's definitely not looking to last long . High of only 19C.
