Still no rain here despite being under a weather warning for the last couple of days. High today of 23C Snap! But then we were on the border of the yellow warning zone. We had 3 yellow warning, 1 for today, 1 for tomorrow & 1 for Monday. Though today's was cancelled - at 5pm! I see that Sunday's has been cancelled as well! Monday's is still standing & this time we are right in the middle of the warning zone! But that's hardly surprising considering the area the alert covers - almost everyone here could say the same unless you live in the extreme SW of England & Wales or north of Manchester or Newcastle!
It's been a very warm day here today although I don't know what temps we reached - but into the high low 20sC (if that makes sense! ). We have had lots more sunshine that initially forecast early this morning. Not a drop of rain & very light winds! So it's been a lovely day! I hope tomorrow's similar!

Lovely day here again yesterday, it felt really warm in the sunshine.
Dry at the moment although looking at the patio pavers I can see we must've had a bit of overnight rain as they look damp.Once again we are forecast thunder and rain for today....only time will tell. High today is suppose to resch 19C

Dry until mid afternoon when the heavens opened. Rained hard all night and still drizzling now. Actually needed the rain so not complaining.

After a fairly bright day yesterday the rain arrived yesterday evening with 4-5 hours of heavy rain accompanied by thunder and lightening. I thought we might get a dry morning at least today from the forecast for today last night, but it's been raining all morning, and appears to be a bit heavier again at present.

We had some rain for a few hours this morning but when it cleared up about midday we had no more till about 7pm but even that only lasted for a short time. We had some light rain about 9pm but that too was light & has finished. Hardly a yellow warning event! Yet tomorrow we are in the centre of it all & are forecast heavy rain - we will see! I saw this morning there was an amber alert for heavy rain as well across a good swath of the country from the east coast & crossing the midlands during Monday. I don't know if it is still in effect or if it has been cancelled.
While it hasn't been a very sunny afternoon we did have some sunny intervals. It has been relatively warm as well as the weather apps say we got as high as 21C!!! This morning we had 14C again to start the day & we are forecast a similar temperature for tomorrow morning - with rain, just like today. The autumn has got off to a wet start - though warm!

It's damp but not raining at the moment. The Met Office app forecasts rain from 6am but it doesn't seem to be heavy rain. Though rain is expected most of the day today it will be light rain.
Temps are about 16C at 6am and are expected to reach about 20C. So not a cold day in prospect!

In the end we had a few more spits and spots of rain yesterday but it wasn't heavy enough to stop gardening. Today we have woken to more wet patio pavers and a forecast that suggests that we will have a steady light rainfall all day. High today of 17C.
