Weather Station

A rather soggy start to the day here, it seems it has been raining for a couple of hours before 6am. Even now it's raining still & is expected to continue for another couple of hours.

The promised "mimi-heatwave" will be a little lower than expected with highs of around 19C next Wednesday and Thursday, not the mid 20sC as forecast last week.

The rain didn't stop till around mid-morning. So nothing done on balcony. It's been quite a cool day even if the temps are supposed to be around 12C at present (5pm) but it should get a little warmer for a few days later this week. No sunshine today, only clouds. Wind is very light from the ESE at 10 mph.

Well we ended up with a cloudy but dry day yesterday after all , today is forecast to be the same . Nice and mild with a high of 18C and an overnight 15C.

The day continued as it began this morning with cloud, cloudy & nothing but clouds all day! In spite of the clouds we didn't have any rain but rain showers are forecast from 9.30pm with several during the wee small hours of Wednesday morning. The wind has been practically absent most of the day. I was able to work on the balcony for an hour or so without getting sunstroke!

Tomorrow the temps are NOT expected to get into the low 20sC as was expected a few days ago. We are forecast a max of 19C but like today mostly cloudy all day. After the showers in the wee hours we are not expecting any more rain during the daylight hours at least.

We ended the day on a wet note as it was raining at 11pm. I didn't hear any more rain during the night but we were forecast showers during the wee hours of the morning today.

At present we have a lot of cloud cover which is expected to persist most of the day. It's also a much warmer start to the day than for some time with 14C at 6am. Our max is forecast to be 19C.
