After lunch went to bed because I felt a bit grotty and I thought that a quick nap was all that I needed. I did not hear my alarm and was woken up by phone call from school saying hadn't picked the girls up.
Staggered downstairs but just too ill and I would have ended up crawling to get the girls. So I rang Daddy. Daddy to the rescue. Sat downstairs on the settee, willing myself to get better but obviously not hard enough because I was then sick.
I have not been constantly sick all night but I am not right, Daddy went to work this morning and I took the girls to school early so that I could get back quickly (and stop myself feeling worse with the running late stress).
Next door are having work done in their house and so I keep hearing loud drilling and hammering noises in our connecting wall. I don't want to sleep too long in the daytime because I won't be able to sleep at bedtime tonight. I am loath to turn the tv on because I feel that it is a really bad habit to get into, as I'll get even less done.
Told my Mum not to come round and to keep an eye on Dad because I had gone out with him earlier yesterday.
Not 100% and fed up. Looking forward to 5.30 when Daddy and the girls are home. Daddy's Birthday on Monday so it is going to be a good one. Either that or be nothing but snow.

Oh dear. Sorry to hear that you're not well. Stay warm - it really doesn't matter if you watch a bit of TV. You won't get into the habit if it'd just once! Be kind to yourself - it'll help you to feel better.

You are only fed up because you are "under the weather". Watch TV and keep warm. Of course the TV programmes could make you feel worse. Have a rest and a day off. You can't be the same every day.

Sounds a bit like what my OH had all over the Christmas and New Year. That dreaded norovirus, plus she also had breathing problems as well so ended up in casualty one night. The good news is that these things run their course and all is fine now as I am sure will happen with you too moonlight.
Mind you it did rather put a damper on the festive season.

Stay in & rest Moonlight, keep drinking fluids & if you can find anything on TV that doesn't drive you mad watch it, if not listen to some music which might cover up the building noise a bit. Take care.

Feeling much better, waited 24 hours before eating and feeling a lot better now. We had cottage pie tonight Daddy cooked . I was very lucky, so many people have been really ill with the norovirus, I didn't, I was not ill enough. Very lucky. Thank you for your get better messages, feeling more like me again.

That's good. At least you chose the right time to be stuck indoors!
